If you remember, Tiya was our very first official nursemare who helped the foal Micah with its start in life in the fall of 2018. After weaning and returning to ColdSpring for some recovery time and vacation, she was ready to go back out to help another baby.
In April 2019, our lovely nurse mare Tiya got a stunning orphaned quarter horse colt down in North Carolina.
April 29, 2019: CSNM’s queen, Tiya and her 1 month old stunning quarter horse colt!! This lil guy has some serious bloodlines and we are so excited to watch him grow up with a thoroughbred as his momma!
May 26, 2019: Look who turned 8 weeks old today!
Tiya and her Hancock colt are looking fabulous and doing so well together!
I love seeing our hormone induced nurse mares thriving with their adopted foals.
August 5, 2019: Look at how this lil guy has grown! Tiya and her colt are doing great together. Boojum is now 4 months old and man is he gonna be a looker! ?
